According to open source information, Shirley Duong has gone missing in Los Angeles, CA. Duong was last seen on Monday, 10/25/2021 leaving her home in Monterey Park, CA. According to reporting, Duong's last known contact was with her sister’s husband. Duong reportedly left her belongings at home, which included her phone and house keys. Other open source reporting indicates  Duong was last seen visiting neighbors near Konbi on Sunset in Echo Park.

Duong has been reported missing to the Monterey Park Police Department and a missing person’s report has been filed. She drives a 2014 Yellow Toyota Prius.

During a recent search for Duong, her car was located in Echo Park, CA. A Facebook post by Jake Martin reads “Update 10/28: all her belongings were found inside her vehicle. She doesn’t have a phone, wallet (ID, cash, cards), car keys, or purse. This means she couldn’t have got very far unless by foot.”

What's going on?
I just read about this case and it's another one of those where police probably are telling her family, don't worry, she will be back in no time, she's probably just hanging out with friends or met someone. There's like nothing in the news about this case anywhere, why?
